Please read these terms carefully before using Aegis Marketplace

1. Introduction
Welcome to Aegis Marketplace. By using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
Aegis Marketplace is a P2P platform that connects buyers and sellers of social media accounts and digital assets. We act as an intermediary to facilitate transactions but are not responsible for the quality, legality, or authenticity of the accounts being traded.
2. Security Questions
CRITICAL: Your security question answer is IRRECOVERABLE. We do not store your security answer in plain text. It is hashed and encrypted. If you forget your security answer, it CANNOT be recovered or reset by anyone, including server administrators.
By using Aegis Marketplace, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for remembering your security question answer.
- No one, including Aegis Marketplace staff or server administrators, can recover or reset your security answer.
- If you forget your security answer, you may permanently lose access to your account.
- You should store your security answer in a secure location, such as a password manager or written record.
RECOMMENDATION: Write down your security question answer and keep it in a safe place. We strongly recommend using a password manager to store this information securely.
3. Recovery Codes
CRITICAL: You are responsible for backing up your 10 one-time recovery codes. These codes are the ONLY way to reset your password if you forget it. Each code can be used only once, and they cannot be regenerated or recovered.
By using Aegis Marketplace, you agree that:
- You will save and securely store all 10 recovery codes provided to you during signup.
- These codes are the sole method for password recovery.
- If you lose all your recovery codes, you will not be able to reset your password.
- Aegis Marketplace support cannot provide alternative recovery methods.
RECOMMENDATION: Screenshot, print, or write down your recovery codes and store them in multiple secure locations.
4. Valid Email Address
You must provide a valid and active email address when registering on Aegis Marketplace. This email is used for:
- Account verification and security notifications
- Dispute resolution and communication
- Transaction updates and receipts
- Password reset and recovery communications
It is your responsibility to maintain access to the email address associated with your account. If you lose access to your registered email, we cannot verify your identity for recovery purposes.
5. Communication Policy
WARNING: NEVER take conversations outside the Aegis Marketplace platform. If you communicate with buyers or sellers outside our platform, we cannot protect you or intervene in case of a dispute. If you get scammed due to off-platform communication, WE WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE.
By using Aegis Marketplace, you agree that:
- All communication regarding transactions must take place on the Aegis Marketplace platform.
- We monitor communications to ensure compliance with our policies and to prevent fraud.
- If you choose to communicate outside the platform, you assume all risks and liability.
- Aegis Marketplace is not responsible for any losses incurred from off-platform communications.
6. Account Liability
DISCLAIMER: We are not liable if an account is taken down, banned, or disabled by the social media platform after a successful login. You are purchasing the account "as-is" and assume all risks associated with the account's status and future performance.
By using Aegis Marketplace, you acknowledge that:
- Accounts sold on our platform are provided "as-is" without warranties.
- We do not guarantee that accounts will remain active or in good standing after transfer.
- The seller is responsible for providing accurate information about the account's status.
- We are not liable for any actions taken by the social media platform against the account.
7. Fees and Charges
Aegis Marketplace charges the following fees for transactions on our platform:

Example Calculations:
- Withdrawal of ₦100,000 → Fee: ₦10,000 (10%) → You receive ₦90,000
- Withdrawal of ₦50,000 → Fee: ₦5,000 (10%) → You receive ₦45,000
- Deposit of ₦15,000 → Fee: ₦50 → ₦15,050 total
- Deposit of ₦9,000 → Fee: ₦0 → ₦9,000 total
NOTE: Fees are subject to change. You will always be informed of applicable fees before completing any transaction.
8. Security Practices
To ensure the safety of your account and funds, you agree to:
- Never share your security question answer with anyone, including Aegis Marketplace staff.
- Use a strong, unique password for your account.
- Enable two-factor authentication if available.
- Log out of your account when not in use.
- Report any suspicious activity to us immediately.
CRITICAL: Aegis Marketplace staff will NEVER ask for your password, security answer, or recovery codes. If anyone requests this information, do not provide it and report it immediately.
9. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between buyers and sellers, Aegis Marketplace will:
- Review all evidence and chat history provided on the platform.
- Make a fair and reasonable determination based on available information.
- Hold funds in escrow until the dispute is resolved.
- Provide a final decision that is binding for all parties.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that are involved in fraudulent activities.
10. Acknowledgment
By using Aegis Marketplace, you acknowledge that:
- You have read and understood these Terms of Service.
- You agree to all terms and conditions outlined above.
- You are solely responsible for your account security.
- You accept all risks associated with buying and selling on our platform.
